Purple Haven's Ranking System

The first 3 rank-ups are earned by either a cap in Citadel or a recruit. Admin rank with Ava Warden is earned after a combination of first 3 ranks. For instance, 3 caps, or 2 caps + one recruit, or 1 cap + 2 recruits, or 3 recruits = Admin rank with Avatar Warden. One could have an Admin rank even before getting off probation. 5 recruits = Organizer.

Although ranks higher then administrator are earned by participation, it is not a strict formula. Simply put, the more one participates, and the more areas they participate in, the more we know we can depend one you. Keep in mind, the higher the rank, the longer we need to see consistency in your dependability. Ranks are not determined by the hours that you play Runescape, but by what you contribute to Purple Haven.

Several things are weighed in when we consider clanmates for ranking up. Does this clanmate ...

......show respect at all times? or do we have to remind them of it?
......remind others of respect when needed in a tactful, noncombative manner?
......cap without being reminded?
......make new clan members feel welcomed?
......greet members when they enter cc?
......encourage other members in their goals?
......congratulate members in their victories?
......help others when they can both in and out of cc?
......express gratitude towards clan mates who help them?
......recruit?
......get avatar out?
......let the clan know they have ava and be available when one needs to feed?
......remember to send avatar home before logging off?
......organize gatherings?

Noone is expected to do all of these things to rank up, like not everyone can recruit, or organize events/gatherings.
Noone will rank up if not capping each tick without being reminded. Period.

Ranks of Admin or higher are expected to cap each build tick (week). If you have multiple accounts in Purple Haven, your highest ranked account is always expected to cap. Your second, or in some cases third accounts are not gonna have consequences if they don't cap, however are expected to maintain Fealty. Maintaining Fealty means you have to skill enough at the Citadel to earn Fealty. A notification of when this occurs will show in your chat box. It's usually about half way to cap or a little less. Exception to this is when we are upgrading we need and expect all active accounts to cap.

Not capping regularly void of reminders will result in ranking down. If you do not cap 2 wks in a row, you will receive a warning from one of the Key Ranks. If you fail to cap a third week in a row, you will be ranked down one. It will take 2 consecutive weeks of capping to show you deserve to be ranked back up.

Please know that you will not be kicked from our clan for slacking at cit, if its not a habit. If you are a player who can't play regularly, like college students, or are on vacation, or don't have membership, you will not be de-ranked or kicked. If you know you will be absent from the game for a extended period of time, or wont have membership, please let us know in the miscellaneous category of this website. As mentioned above, Ranks are determined not by the hours you play runescape, but by what you put into the group. We have however, dismissed a few people for failing to visit cit and refusal to speak even once in cc or pm for months at a time.
